For Lullwave, the offline bundle of calming touch toys for Android
Lullwave collects nothing. No account, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, nothing to buy, no Android permissions, no network connection — and, unusually for an app in this category, no record whatsoever of when or how long you used it.
Lullwave is made and published by Strategic Data Advisors Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, which releases its apps under the name IronWillow Games. Where data protection law refers to a data controller, that company is it — a role with nothing to control, because the app gathers nothing.

Apps built around stress usually keep a log: sessions opened, minutes spent, times of day, a weekly summary. That log is a description of when a person felt bad, which is about as sensitive as a note can get without naming an illness. We decided not to have one.
Lullwave therefore counts nothing, times nothing and keeps no history. There is no streak, no session length, no clock and no report. If you open it four times tonight and not again for a month, the app is equally unaware of both facts.
Where your finger is on the glass drives the ripple, the bloom or the particle trail in that instant, and is then gone. No touch path is written to storage, no pattern of how you use the screen is assembled, and nothing about your movements is transmitted. Haptic feedback uses the standard vibration effect available to any app and needs no permission.
A single small file sits in the app's private storage, containing preferences only:
Nothing in it identifies you: no name, email address, contacts, photos, location, advertising identifier or device identifier.
No advertising library, so nothing interrupts a scene and no advertising profile is built from your use. No analytics library and no crash reporter, so no events, session logs or crash traces leave the handset. No billing library, so no scene, palette or dim mode is behind a price and no payment data exists. No account, no cloud, no sync, no sharing, no notifications — the app has no permission to send one and nothing it would want to say.
Lullwave requests no Android runtime permissions: not camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage or notifications.
None. Every scene is compiled into the download and drawn on the device, so the app opens no connection to our servers or to anyone else's and behaves identically in aeroplane mode. Nothing leaves the handset to be intercepted, and nothing arrives that could change its behaviour after installation.
Installing or updating Lullwave is a transaction between you and Google, handled under Google's own privacy policy and its agreement with you. What reaches us is the aggregated, anonymous developer console view — installs, ratings, country totals — which identifies nobody.
If a future version ever touches the network, this page is rewritten before that version is published and the change stated plainly.
There is nothing to read, nothing to win and nothing to buy, which makes Lullwave about as simple a thing as a phone can hand a child. Since nothing is collected from anyone, nothing is collected from children, and there are no adverts, no chat, no sharing and no links out of the app.
It is a toy for the hands and eyes, not a medical device, not therapy and not a treatment for anxiety, insomnia or anything else. It makes no claim about your health and measures nothing about you. If something in your life needs more than a minute of ripples, please talk to a doctor rather than an app.
Under the UK GDPR, and the EU GDPR where it applies to you, you have rights of access, correction, erasure and portability over personal data a company holds about you, and a right to complain to a supervisory authority. Each of those needs data to act on, and none of yours exists here — we will confirm that in writing if it is useful.
Clearing the app's data in Android settings or uninstalling Lullwave removes the settings file. There is nothing else to remove.
Complaints can go to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though writing to us first is usually quicker.
This page is updated only when the app changes in a way that affects privacy, and the date near the top changes with it. Builds already installed keep behaving exactly as described.
A scene that stutters, haptics that feel wrong, a privacy question: hush@strategicdata.club, read by the person who wrote the app, usually answered within a couple of days.
